Last updated July 26, 2026. This describes what Peak Clips collects when you apply for or use our Twitch clipping service, why, and how you can have it removed.

When you apply, we collect what you submit in the application form — your Twitch channel, contact details, and anything else you write in it. If you're accepted and connect a YouTube, TikTok, or other publishing account so we can post clips, we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf. We also process your public Twitch broadcasts and clips to select and produce short-form video.
We don't collect payment details directly — any billing runs through a third-party processor if and when fees apply, and we don't see or store full card numbers.

Application details are used to decide whether to take you on and to reach you about that decision. Publishing tokens are used only to post the clips we produce for you to the accounts you've connected — never to post anything else, read your messages, or access data unrelated to publishing. Your broadcast footage is used only to produce clips under the arrangement we've agreed with you.

Where we access YouTube on your behalf, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. That data is used solely to publish the clips we produce for your channel — we do not use it to serve ads, sell it, or share it beyond what's needed to operate the service, and it is not used to train generalized AI/ML models.

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the infrastructure and API providers needed to run the service — hosting, the AI editing tooling that selects and reframes clips, and the platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitch) clips are posted to or sourced from — each bound by their own terms and, where applicable, the Google API Services User Data Policy above. We disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Publishing tokens and account data are kept only for as long as you're actively working with us, on infrastructure we control. If you end the arrangement, or ask us to, we delete the tokens and stop all access to your accounts. Application data for people we don't take on is retained only as long as needed to make and record that decision, then removed.

You can revoke a connected account's access at any time from that platform's own settings, which stops us from publishing to it immediately. You can ask us to delete data we hold about you, and we will do so except where we're required to keep it (for example, financial records tied to fees already paid). The service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
